The Second Annual Channel Frederator Awards

They're almost here! The Second Annual Channel Frederator Awards will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2008 at The Canal Room in New York City.

Designed to recognize a wide array of achievements seen throughout the year on our weekly episodes of Channel Frederator, the Channel Frederator Awards honor user-submitted films in categories that range from "Best Flash Film" to the "So Cute It Hurts Award."

From the very beginning our programming staff has strived to make Channel Frederator about our viewers. The cartoons are submitted by the talented among the viewers, each film is voted on by all of the viewers, and viewers help us program with their feedback through comments, phone calls and e-mails.

It seemed to us that if we were going to have an awards show, ours had to be different. That difference is you, the viewer. As with Channel Frederator, the Channel Frederator Awards is programmed by you, the viewers. You submit the content, suggest the categories, choose the content for the program, and vote for the final winners.

As we head into the Second Annual Channel Frederator Awards, we hope you'll join us in celebrating our filmmakers in an event that is as successful as last year. After all, it's your network and your awards show.
